Who are our "Heroes?"  It will be the responsibility of the merchants listing  discounts or offers at DISCOUNTSFORHEROES.COM to verify the identity of the person(s) seeking the  discount or offer to the satisfaction of the merchant. 

We at DISCOUNTSFORHEROES.COM intend that as many discounts and offers as possible will be utilized by all the members of the Police, Fire/EMS and Military.

By Police we suggest all members active or retired of all Federal, State, County and Municipal Police Agencies and Sheriff Departments be eligible.

By Fire we suggest all members active or retired of all Federal, State, County and Municipal Fire Departments and Fire Protection Services be eligible.

By EMS we suggest all members active or retired of Federal, State and Municipal Emergency Medical Services be eligible.  We understand that these workers are often included in Fire Departments but also are independent agencies supplying Paramedics, Emergency room workers, Emergency air support and the like.

By Military we suggest all active or retired members of all branches of services to the United States Armed Forces be eligible.

We at DISCOUNTSFORHEROES.COM encourage our merchants to make their discounts and offers available to all of our heroes.  You do have the option to make your offer specific to any of the listed groups or services.  We do ask that if you are going to narrow your offer that it still be made available to all eligible persons within that group.  Thank You.
